Employers have a duty of care to keep employees safe by eliminating and controlling workplace violence and aggression (OVA). This OVA course creates awareness of workplace violence and aggression and enables employees, contractors, and volunteers to identify, report and respond to incidents of work-related violence and aggression. It also promotes a healthy and safe workplace, including the physical and psychological work environment.

Work related violence covers a broad range of behaviours that create risks to the physical and/or psychological safety and wellbeing of workers.
