Description

This 45 minute Self Paced eLearning course is designed to provide employees and employers with a general knowledge of basic principles relating to Australia’s Chain of Responsibility laws. It is intended to be used as a general awareness and refresher course to encourage parties in the supply chain to keep up to date with their responsibilities.

This course will introduce you to the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements for people who work in the transport industry, particularly with heavy vehicles. The course covers the main roles within the transport industry, what responsibilities those people have, and explains how the CoR applies specifically to them. It also looks at how to identify CoR breaches, and what the penalties are.

Upon completion of this course, participants will learn:

● What the CoR is and why it’s important
● What a ‘risk based approach’ means
● What to do if you notice a CoR issue
● What the different roles are within the supply chain
● Who has responsibilities in relation to CoR laws
● How the CoR can help to keep everyone safe

This course is designed for organisation-wide delivery for employees and employers. Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance on successful completion of this course.

Duration: 45 minutes

This course is valid for 12 months from the date of registration and can be completed online at any time that suits your own personal circumstances.
