This 15 minute Self Paced role-specific module is designed as a general awareness course and contains a basic understanding of the specific responsibilities of a Consignor under the CoR. 

This module builds on the CoR Foundation Course and focuses on the Chain of Responsibility requirements for people who work in the transport industry as a Consignor in relation to the key focus areas of: Safety Systems; Speed; Fatigue; Mass, Dimension and Loading; and, Vehicle Standards.

On completion of this course, participants will learn:

● Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) roles
● CoR roles, as defined by the CoR laws
● Role-specific responsibilities
● Safety systems and how they apply to your job
● The importance of proper fatigue management
● How to manage speed
● Mass, Dimension and Loading requirements
● How to keep track of Vehicle Standards

This course is designed for employees and employers in the transport supply chain who have specific roles under the CoR and HVNL. Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance on successful completion of this course.

Duration: 15 minutes

This course is valid for 12 months from the date of registration and can be completed online at any time that suits your own personal circumstances.
